MediaShoot Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-25 · Effective 2026-10-25
These terms are an agreement between you and Signalsop ("Signalsop", "we", "us"). They cover the MediaShoot apps for Android, Windows and Mac and the mediashoot.net website (together, "the apps"). Please read them. By tapping "I agree", or by using the apps, you accept them.
1. What MediaShoot is
MediaShoot copies the photos and videos on your phone to your own computer. You install the phone app and the computer app, pair them with a code or QR code, and the phone sends your photos and videos straight to the computer you paired. Our Privacy Policy at https://mediashoot.net/privacy/ explains what the apps do and do not do with your information.
2. Your licence to use the apps
Signalsop gives you a personal, free, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the apps on your own devices and computers, for your own private use, under these terms. We keep all rights in the apps themselves (the software, name, logo and design). You may not sell, rent or sub-license the apps, copy them except as needed to install them, or take them apart to get at their code, except where the law says you may.
3. Your photos and videos
You own your photos and videos. These terms do not give Signalsop any rights in them. Your photos and videos stay on your own phone and on the computers you choose to pair. You are responsible for what you copy, for keeping your devices and computers safe, and for keeping your own backups. Moving or deleting files is done on your devices, under your control.
4. How pairing and transfer work
Pairing links one phone to one computer. Only a phone that has been paired can send photos and videos to that computer. Transfers go from your phone to your paired computer over your own network. Transfers can be slow, can be interrupted, or can fail, for example if the network drops, a device sleeps or a disk is full. The apps try to resume, but you should check that your photos and videos arrived before you delete anything from your phone.
5. Acceptable use
Use the apps lawfully and fairly. Do not use them to copy content you have no right to copy, to access someone else's device or computer without their permission, to break or overload any network or service, to bypass the pairing protection, or to harm others. Only pair devices and computers that belong to you or whose owner has agreed.
6. Early versions
Some versions of the apps are early or beta versions. They may contain mistakes, change how they work, or stop working.
7. No warranty
The apps are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, Signalsop gives no promise that the apps will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular purpose, or that every photo or video will be copied correctly. Nothing here limits any rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Signalsop is not liable for any lost, damaged or missing photos, videos or other data, for lost profits, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the apps. Where the law does not allow a limit, Signalsop's total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the apps, which for the free apps is zero. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes to these terms and to the apps
Signalsop may change these terms, and the features and services of the apps, including how they work and the related policies such as the Privacy Policy, at any time and in any way it sees fit. Changes take effect when they are posted or when the app shows them. When a change to these terms is material, the app shows it to you and asks you to accept the updated terms again. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the apps.
10. Ending these terms
You can stop using the apps at any time by uninstalling them. Signalsop may suspend or end your access to the apps, or stop offering them, at any time, for example if these terms are broken. Sections that by their nature should continue to apply (such as sections 3, 7 and 8) continue after the terms end.
